MATERIALS USED

 Channapatna toys are traditional, handcrafted lacware toys,
coloured with natural dyes, and compliant with international standards of toy
safety requirements such as EN 71(Europe) and ASTM(USA).

Lacware craft is an ecologically friendly manufacturing process
which uses Hale Wood and lac- a natural, non toxic resin, as a finishing
material. Maya Organics uses lac mixed with natural dyes made of powders of
Turmeric, Indigo, Kanchi Kum Kum, Natural Alizarin, Catechu, and Jatropha to
colour the toys, so they are safe for your babies.

near the city of Bangalore in India to revive The Channapatna Toy
industry.
