Lord Krishna is a major deity in hinduism. He is worshipped as the eighth
avatar of Lord Vishnu and also as the Supreme god in his own right. He is the
god of protection, compassion, tenderness, and love; and is one of the most

Govinda. Alternatively, he is shown as a romantic young boy with the gopis
(milkmaids), often making music or playing pranks.

The cows in Krishna’s abode are also liberated souls. They are called
surabhi cows. There are many popular pictures showing how Krishna loves the
cows, how He embraces and kisses them. That passive relationship with Krishna
is called santa. Their perfect happiness is achieved when Krishna comes and
simply touches them.”From the surabhi cows one can take as much milk as
one needs, and one may milk these cows as many times as he desires.  These cows are the Lord’s pet animals. Of
the surabhi cows, all of whom are very dear to Lord Krishna, seven are said

Manikastani, Hamsi and Vamsipriya.

Suranga is Krishna’s pet deer and Dadhilobha is His pet monkey. Vyaghra
andBhramaraka are Krishna’s pet dogs. Kalasvana is His pet swan, Tandavika
His pet peacock and Daksa and Vicaksana His pet parrots.

thing. Any associate of Krishna, either his cowherd friends or calf or cows,
